Bei der Ausstellung interagieren die beiden künstlerischen Positionen mit ihrer Umgebung, den Medien und den Besuchern. Installativ verbinden sich Bild, Objekt, Skulptur und Video zu einem Ort welcher sich der Ästhetik des Berührens auf eigene Weise nähert.
Eröffnung Mi 2. Juni 2021, ab 18 Uhr
Geöffnet 4. bis 26. Juni, jeweils Do – Sa, 15 – 19 Uhr
Die Galerie darf von einer begrenzten Anzahl Besucher gleichzeitig betreten werden. Maskenpflicht gemäss den gültigen Bestimmungen.

In the exhibition, the two artistic positions interact with their surroundings, the media and the visitors. The installation combines image, object, sculpture and video to create a place that approaches the aesthetics of touch in its own way.
A limited number of visitors may enter the gallery at the same time. Masks are compulsory in accordance with the regulations in force.

Über die Künstler*innen / About the Artists
In Rafael Lippuner‘s künstlerischer Arbeit fliessen Gewohnheiten des Alltags mit ein. Konventionen des Öffentlichen wie des Privaten werden dabei hinterfragt, wozu ein gewisses Kippmoment dienlich ist. Die Hinwendung zu gefundenen, vielmals übersehenen Dingen mündet in performativen Objekten und ortsbezogenen Interventionen. Arbeitet in Wien sowie der Schweiz.
Rafael Lippuner‘s artistic work incorporates the habits of everyday life. Conventions of the public as well as the private are questioned, for which a certain tilting moment is useful. The turn to found, often overlooked things leads to performative objects and site-specific interventions. Works in Vienna and Switzerland.
Denise Schellmann ist Künstlerin, sowie Wissenschaftlerin und bewegt sich in ihrem multimedialen Werkschaffen im Zwischenraum der beiden Disziplinen.
Die Essenz ihrer verspielten, akribischen Arbeitsprozesse liegt in ihrer tiefen Sehnsucht nach der Erforschung der Wahrheiten ihres Seins und des Lebens im Allgemeinen. Schellmann lebt und arbeitet in Wien.
Denise Schellmann is an artist as well as a scientist, and in her multimedia work she moves in the space between the two disciplines.
The essence of her playful, meticulous work processes lies in her deep longing to explore the truths of her being and of life in general. Schellmann lives and works in Vienna.
