WORKSHOP 2

TALKING HEADS
Here the students will have the opportunity to make an expressive self-portrait, in addition to writing a narrative story about what they like to do and what their wishes for the future are. The objective is not to have a perfectly painted portrait but to explore the different ways the student can think about themselves – with colour, form, texture and writing.

WORKSHOP 1

May 8, 2021
ES IST MUTTERTAG! IT’S MOTHER’S DAY!
As we will be working on the 8th May, the day before Mother’s Day, we will make some gifts for the students’ mothers or a mother figure in their lives. We will work with a pre-existing base-plain small boxes, and we will turn them into bright, fun and colourful boxes for jewellery or other small things!

Kinder Kunst 2020

September 12th Collage Animals – 11 am – 2 pm

Class description:
Innen.
In this class we will learn how to make an artwork made from collage (old newspapers, magazine and other) of your own pet or an animal. You will learn how to transfer a photo of an animal onto another surface, select appropriate colours and patterns, and build the animal out of collage! This is a very fun and versatile art form that encourages the student’s spontaneity and creative problem solving.

October 10th Scratch Technique – 11 am – 2 pm

Class description:
In this class, a little magic comes into play! This very fun technique employs oil pastels and scratching to reveal beautiful shapes and forms. This technique is great to learn that sometimes we need to take something away from an artwork, in order for it to shine!

November 21st – 11 am – 2 pm postponed
